Cookies in plain terms
This cookie policy applies to Lysti — the independent information portal at lysti-kasino.com — not to the operator's own platform. When you visit any page on this site, small text files called cookies may be stored in your browser. They help the site remember your preferences, measure how pages are used, and support any advertising or affiliate functionality we run. This page explains what we set, why, and how to switch any of it off.
What is stored and for how long
A cookie is a small data file placed on your device by a web server. Some cookies disappear when you close your browser (session cookies); others persist until their expiry date or until you delete them manually (persistent cookies). Neither type gives a website access to your files or personal data beyond what you actively provide.
The table below summarises the four categories of cookie this portal may use:
| Category | Purpose | Consent required | Typical retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Keep the site functional — session management, security tokens, consent-banner state | No | Session or up to 12 months |
| Analytics | Measure page views, traffic sources and on-site behaviour so we can improve content | Yes | Up to 26 months |
| Marketing & advertising | Support affiliate tracking and, where applicable, interest-based advertising | Yes | Up to 90 days |
| Preference | Remember choices such as language or display settings across visits | Yes | Up to 12 months |
We do not store sensitive personal data — such as payment details or government-issued identification — in cookies.
Embedded third parties
Some features on this portal load resources from third-party services. These include analytics providers that measure traffic, advertising networks that serve relevant content, and affiliate platforms that allow us to earn a commission when a reader visits an operator's site. Each of these providers may set their own cookies subject to their own privacy policies.
We do not control third-party cookies once they are placed. If you would prefer these not to be set at all, the most reliable approach is to decline the relevant consent categories in our cookie banner, or to use your browser's built-in controls (see the section below). We do not sell data collected through these cookies to unaffiliated parties.
Declining without breaking the site
Necessary cookies cannot be disabled without affecting core functionality — the site may not load correctly without them. All other categories can be declined at any time without preventing you from reading content on lysti-kasino.com.
You can manage consent through the cookie banner shown on your first visit, or by adjusting settings in your browser directly. Here is how to reach cookie controls in the most common browsers:
- Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Mozilla Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Apple Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
Most browsers also allow you to set a "Do Not Track" signal, though its effect depends on whether individual sites and third parties honour it. Deleting cookies after the fact is possible through the same menus; bear in mind that doing so resets your consent preferences, so the banner will reappear on your next visit.
Updates to this policy
We may revise this cookie policy from time to time — for instance, if we introduce a new analytics tool or change our advertising arrangements. When we do, the updated version will be published here with a revised date. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. If the changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to bring them to your attention via the cookie banner.
This policy was last updated in 2026. For questions about cookies or data handling on lysti-kasino.com, contact us at [email protected].
